Our story starts with an Italian girl raised with Brooklyn roots, where Sunday Gravy simmered all day and family always came first. She fell in love with an Italian boy whose roots run deep in Italy, where Sunday Sauce simmered all day, and recipes weren't written down — they were passed from generation to generation. Together, we built a life centered around family, grounded in love, culture, and food.
With our three children by our side, our family made a bold move from New York to Tennessee, bringing with us everything we know and love about Italian tradition. Out of that journey, Lupo’s – A Taste of Italy was born.
Living in Tennessee, we have blended southern culture and hospitality with the bold, comforting flavors of Brooklyn Italian cooking and the simplicity of authentic Italian cuisine. Every recipe we make is inspired by our families — the meals we grew up with, the weekends and holidays spent around crowded tables, and both old-world and new southern traditions that helped shape who we are.
At Lupo’s, food is about connection. It’s about slowing down, gathering together, and sharing the love and care of past generations.
